Join the Tribe for Ecstatic Dance and Somatic Movement with DJ & Facilitator, Arielle Star Triana and author of Heal Through Dance.

Come as you are, no dance experience needed. Wear comfy clothing you can dance and move in. At the beginning of our dance we drop into our body and connect with the earth. We ground ourselves before we begin to move and dance. Our music begins soft and slow and it may draw you towards the ground for some floor stretching.

Our DJ and Facilitator will curate a playlist that will take you through a journey of awakening the chakras and elements within. As the music picks up and we enter high peaks of intensity, we will cultivate our energy with powerful breath practices. We will use sound to purify, release and let go in our dance. Our movement will be a free form journey with light guidance as we move through the layers of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Love, Sound, Prayer and Light.

As the music slows down, your body slows down, and you can find a comfy seat, cushion, blanket or yoga mat and let your body organically come to a still point. As you surrender and relax into meditation, you may receive divine insights, healing messages and the sensation of feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. 

We close our practice with a guided meditation.

Somatic release may happen during or after the dance. These symptoms look like caughing, belching, crying, laughing or releasing sound. As we dance, we move energy throughout our mind-body-energy. Naturally things that are stagnant or stuck within us can release and let go in the dance.

This is a healing journey. Bring your journal and pen. When you arrive, visit the altar to draw oracle cards. These cards hold messages that can help you create your Intention for the dance.

What are Intentions? Intentions are the instructions we give to our body, mind, energy and the Unvierse. We ask for what we want in our lives and we open up to what we want to release and let go of.

Bring your water bottle with water. We are Earth Conscious and will no longer provide plastic cups at our events. Please bring your own vessel for water. Thank you.

Dance Church is our Sacred Sunday Session of Ecstatic Dance and Somatic Movement. We have been offering community dance on Sundays since May 2012 in South Florida.
